Touchstone delivers, albeit not as quickly as they advertised, but they did deliver my father-in-law's DD214 in approximately 2 - 3 weeks from the date I placed my order. From what I understand, if I would have attempted to obtain a copy of my father-in-law's DD214 through the Veteran's Administration, it could have taken me up to 9 to 11 months before I would receive his DD214. With that being the case, I would strongly recommend Touchstone to anyone who is in need of obtaining a former military person's DD214 in a short period of time (i.e., when needing to obtain proof of military service to order a deceased person's headstone, or if a surviving spouse needs to provide the VA with his/her deceased spouse's DD214 in order to qualify for surviving spouse benefits, etc.). I was also impressed by Touchstone's periodic e-mail status updates concerning my order. Overall, my experience with Touchstone was very good. [Each case is unique. Our time for retrieval are based on average response. Certain cases will vary.]
